Scott began his career in the Risk Management field in 1995 when he joined Aneco Electrical Construction as the Assistant Director of Safety. In 1999, he joined Palm Beach County as a Loss Control Specialist in the Risk Management Department. Since then he has held the positions of Senior Loss Control Specialist, Employee Safety Coordinator and Manager of the Property and Liability Division before taking his current position as the Director of Risk Management in 2016. Scott holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. In addition, he holds the designations of Certified Safety Professional (CSP) in Comprehensive Practice and Associate in Risk Management (ARM). He currently serves as the President of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Risk Management Society and previously served as a board member for the National Safety Council, South Florida Chapter and was past President of the American Society of Safety Professionals - Gold Coast Chapter.
